Practice Plans
Printable Youth Soccer Practice Plan
A printed plan helps a volunteer coach stay organized without reading from a phone throughout practice. Keep it to four connected activities and include enough setup detail that an assistant can help.
What a useful printed plan includes
01
Age and session length
Choose a realistic attention level and total time for the group.
02
One learning focus
Use a single question or cue that connects the activities.
03
Setup and instructions
Record field size, players, equipment, scoring, and the first progression.
04
Departure checklist
Confirm balls, cones, pinnies, water, safety supplies, rotations, and a backup activity.
